By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated below. If you do not agree, do not use the site or complete a purchase.

Products Services And Availability

We try to describe products, digital resources, coaching, and events accurately. Colors and appearance may vary by screen or production process. Prices, availability, editions, formats, schedules, and descriptions may change. We may correct an error, reject or limit an order, or cancel an unavailable item. If we cancel an item after payment, we will refund the amount paid for that item.

Orders Payments And Taxes

An order is an offer to purchase and is accepted when we send a confirmation or begin fulfillment, depending on the transaction. You authorize the payment method for the total shown at checkout. You are responsible for applicable taxes, shipping, customs, and fees shown or lawfully assessed. A payment processor may apply its own terms.

Shipping Returns Digital Products And Bookings

The Shipping and Delivery Policy, Return Refund and Exchange Policy, Digital Product Policy, and Coaching Consultation and Event Cancellation Policy are incorporated into these Terms. A signed agreement controls a speaking engagement, organizational program, or other service when it conflicts with these website Terms.

Marriage Ethos provides education, tools, and coaching intended to support reflection and relationship skills. It does not provide psychotherapy, mental health treatment, medical care, legal advice, or emergency services. No specific result is promised. The Educational and Relationship Guidance Disclaimer is incorporated into these Terms.

The site and its text, books, guides, workbooks, audio, video, graphics, logos, quizzes, methods, downloads, and other content are owned by or licensed to Marriage Ethos and are protected by intellectual property law. Except for the limited personal use expressly allowed, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, sell, license, modify, create derivative works from, scrape, or commercially exploit the content without written permission.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not break the law, infringe rights, impersonate another person, or provide false order or payment information.

You retain ownership of content you submit. When you voluntarily submit a review, testimonial, photograph, or other content for publication, you grant Marriage Ethos a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty free license to use, reproduce, edit for length or clarity without changing meaning, display, and distribute it in connection with the business, subject to any written permission form. You represent that you have the needed rights and that the content is truthful. We may remove submitted content, but we do not require a positive review and will not prohibit an honest review.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and educational content are provided as available and without warranties not expressly stated in writing. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error free access, that every defect will be corrected, or that any product, exercise, recommendation, coaching session, or program will produce a specific relationship, personal, financial, health, or other result. Rights and implied warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded remain in effect.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marriage Ethos and its owners, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses arising from the site, products, content, or services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid Marriage Ethos for the product or service that directly gave rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event. This limitation does not apply where law prohibits it, including liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing Law And Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules. Subject to any consumer right that requires another forum, claims must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

Changes Suspension And Severability

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise. We may suspend access for unlawful or harmful use. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver.
